Haven't we all been busy in keeping to ourselves this lock-down? Sure , we are up to date with Corona related information , but do we really know what else is going on in this world? Here are 6 things you missed while quarantining yourself :

Though locust surges are not ' once in a blue moon ' type of incident , yet this one is the worst India has seen in decades. Locusts are short-horned grasshoppers who have a big appetite and destroy almost every bit of leaves and crop in their way. They usually reproduce fast and travel in large groups. A swarm of 500,000 locusts eat as much as 2,500 people. As of May 29th , about 42,000 hectares of land was affected all over India.

On May 25th , a Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin intentionally kept his knee on African-American George Floyd's neck while he was lying face down , handcuffed , struggling to breathe. Riots broke out at St.Paul , Chicago , Manhattan , Los Angeles , Phoenix , Memphis and Louisville over this. Police cars are being set on fire , protestors are jumping on cars to shatter windshields , objects are being thrown at officers and stores are being looted.

As an Indian ,  I have only seen people following curfews and lockdowns for the first 3-4 months. Some people are yet to understand the solemnity , the seriousness of the pandemic , and some overthink it. I'm here to clear exactly that. I conducted interviews with 3 individuals of different age groups , so as to determine that the virus affects everybody ; not just people of a certain age.  Though most teenagers nowadays think that the virus may not affect them , this discussion with 17-year old Ambarish Bakshi from Aurangabad proves them otherwise.    Blogger : Hello! So ,  Ambarish , when did you start experiencing symptoms? Ambarish : Hey . Approximately , 3-4 days before testing , and I started quarantining at the MIT Boys Hostel on 21st September till the 30th.  B : What were the symptoms you were enduring? If you had to rate the intensity of your symptoms from a scale of 1-10 , what would it be? A : I had a headache , a mild fever , had cough , and ...
